Message from EFC COUNCIL - update rules concerning declaring a faster time after speed trials:

The EFC is the largest international flyball tournament in the world. No qualification or anything like that is required to participate. Flyball enthusiasts love to come to this tournament. Teams can race against teams from other countries, and also get to know each other. Traditionally there are many mixed teams. It always takes a while for these teams to make good crossings. Mainly for these teams a rule has been in place so they can specify a faster time after the speed trials to avoid BO and NBO. After ST, new divisions are created with sharp (net) breakout times.

This rule has been in place for several years however this rule has now been changed. From now on, a team may specify a faster time after the last race of the division in which they are running, but no later than 15 minutes after the final race . That time is only valid if the team is classified in a different division than the ST time run. The team will then be placed last in that new division. So, a team cannot declare a faster time just to get a better place in a division.

If you want to declare a faster time, go to the secretariat near the rings!
